Oem Software:

• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) costs you half of the price of Full Retail but comes without technical support and upgrade options.
  OEM software is designed to be installed on machines that are new or have not had previous versions of the same software installed.
  If you are replacing an operating system you cannot upgrade using OEM software, you would have to format your hard disk first.
  If you are installing a program/application, you must have removed any previous versions before installing your OEM.
